Digital SEO Marketing Perth - Facebook Ads Lessons to increase your Influence

Digital SEO Marketing Perth is not as simple as establishing a website there are of lots of different Digital SEO Marketing concepts to try and understand yourself as a website owner. It is for this reason I intend to share with you a few lessons that I have discovered Facebook Ads. Why Facebook ads? Because Social media is useful to Digital SEO Marketing, and because there are plenty of matters about Facebook Ads that I wished I knew when I first began investing with them.

Lesson # 1 - Location, Location, location - Don't waste your money

If you have made a Facebook ad before you would know that you will need to select a location. So if you are a local Perth Business then you will want to set the location to Perth. It just makes sense, right?

But what quite a few people overlook is that they choose by default the option for "Everyone in this Location".

So I want to explain to you what that actually means. - 'everyone in this location' means every single person in whose Facebook says that they are in Perth will be possibly targeted by your ad. This is pretty specific, and yet still broad enough to where you may be wasting money.

People often don't realise, but that 'everyone' button is actually a drop down option, and from there you can chose whether you want people who live in Perth, or even just people visiting.

So depending on your operation, you may wish to be targeting people that are visiting or even on holiday in Perth. By selecting the option for this you can make sure you are connecting with the specific people that will hopefully be engaging with your business, and therefore get a better engagement rate on your investment.

But what it also means that if you just keep picking 'everyone in this location' then you are by default wasting a few of your ad's reach on people that are just visiting.

So always remember this option exists, and have a think about what options are likely to benefit your business.

Lesson # 2 - Image v Text

This is something that I really had to remember when first beginning. Facebook Ads must contain below 20 % text, it is Facebook's way of making sure your ads actually are not being too obtrusive and annoying, so you need to ensure that you have a nice image in your ad and your font isn't too large.

Something that I have the tendency to use is the grid tool. It is provided by Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ads/tools/text_overlay. And it will give you an indication of just how much text you are using in the ad.

So be certain to keep this in mind and your ads will have more growth, and less automatic denial by Facebook.

Lesson # 3 - Mobile platforms are key

When selecting your platform, don't fall into the trap of selecting just the desktop version. As we all are probably aware, many Facebook users are young, and younger customers basically only use mobile devices. Recent figures from Facebook show that almost 50 % of users under the age of 35 only use a mobile device to access Facebook.

Now, it really does rely on your audience, but even if you are aiming at an older demographic, most will still have mobile devices capable of using Facebook, so don't overlook this option.

What this means is just because you may be on a laptop when you produce and edit an ad, don't fall into the trap of assuming that people will be seeing your ad on a desktop too. This means see to it you look to make sure the ad works for mobile in the preview, and you try out the quantity of ads you want aimed completely to 'mobile.

I hope these few thoughts and pieces of advice will help you to save some effort, time, and even some money when it comes to Facebook ads and your Internet Marketing initiatives in Perth.

Digital SEO Marketing - The Battle to discover what Google is actually 'not providing' you

Digital SEO Marketing is a tough and complex area, and some of the ways that makes it even more difficult is the way that Google is making it harder to find information. I am not typically one to whine about the way that Google changes - usually they are moving to make the SEO 'game' a more genuine a worth driven sector, but some things are still aggravating. So what am I grumbling about here? Well allow me to make an effort and clarify it this way.

Despite how you plan to structure your keyword research, everything begins with a specific core concept, one that you should develop by checking out your metrics and Google Analytics.

The idea is that from this principal idea and keyword, you then develop a seed list of terms, expanding through related terms and synonyms of your core concept. The expansion of terms will then begin to be tailored towards SEO ideas, content marketing, internet marketing and other things to consider.

At one point, Google was content to make all of its searcher keyword data available for free to those wanting to conduct research. However, this has all changed with the modifications made to Google's policy and the role that '(Not Provided)' now performs.

Google has decided though that they are going to lower the access to the data produced by specific searchers. This features those who are logged into a Google account such as Gmail and Google+, along with anyone using recent updates of Mozilla Firefox. The secure searchers are indicated in the search result site's domain including 'https' rather than 'http'.

According to the Not Provided site, www.NotprovidedCount.com, this influences an ever increasing amount of data, being upwards of 80 %. This suggests that the days of simple and free access to marketing reports through Google Analytics accounts are at an end. Rather, you will have to invest in a Google AdWords advertising account so as to use Google's proprietary information.

There are a variety of good keyword research tools accessible in this day and age, however an SEO company is an invaluable resource. With the changing nature of keywords since Hummingbird, and the issues of 'Not Provided', it seems that an SEO company may be one of the simplest ways to learn the real metrics for many niche areas. The main worry that is brought up by this is how it impacts the small businesses in Perth that are trying to conduct some DIY SEO who don't always want to run a full SEO campaign or invest too much money in AdWords or AdSense. Where this goes next in 2016, only time will tell. But if you are looking out for more information on ways that you can try and get more accurate information and metrics that will actually help you, consider approaching an SEO Agency. Every agency is different, so do some analysis and find one that is best for you. Digital SEO Marketing's strength comes from Quality Content

Digital SEO Marketing is based upon a strong structure of quality content, so is your Perth company in fact strong enough to succeed? Far too many places out there are making content that isn't worth the paper it is printed on (or rather the pixels it is displayed on ...) and the web is flooded with small businesses, like yours in Perth, that just try to get some recognition, but irritate people instead. Every online marketer, Local business or even just internet user would prefer to have that one post or video go viral and let the Social Media Machine just generate free attention - but the truth is it is a lottery, and the most effective plan that everyone can stick to is to make constantly quality content for your fans to love, like and share.

There are a few Big Picture ideas that you must bear in mind when it comes to Content:

Relevant Content is Key

Facebook is a rapid paced and constantly changing environment, and so you ought to ensure you reach people when it is going to be most successful. This means every thing must concern you, your company, your audience and what you intend to achieve. When you post about something that your target audience genuinely appreciates you will see better response.

Content is not just words

bear in mind that when we go over content you should be considering Videos, Quotes, Pictures, Thoughts, Ideas, Questions, Slideshows, Animation, and Stats.

Quality means posting content that follows the 3 E's

Make sure your Content can Entertain, Educate and Empower. You ought to keep these words in mind when developing content. If you can constantly make posts that symbolize one of the Three E's then you will be on the path to creating a reputation for quality content.

If you are unsure about what your online or local Perth target market will consider as quality, then among the simplest ways to figure it out is to carry out some research. Take a look at your rivals or at other areas around your market to see what other company's in Perth post and what type of interaction they get. You should not be wanting to copy them, but rather replicate the areas that work and make their success your own. When it boils down to it however, one of the most basic ways to know what your Target market will respond to will be to just ask them. Make a post or a survey that can engage with your audience to see what they want from you as a business and what they want to see on their Facebook wall. You may be surprised by what you uncover.

The ideal place to turn to is Google AdWords to discover how to use advertising, an additional area is Facebook ads, but let's start-off today with running through a few ideas about Google AdWords and its affect upon SEO and Advertising.
Start off by visiting https://www.google.com.au/adwords/
From here you can start off on your grand journey of Google advertising.
But before you start, know this:

  •           You will not see great results unless you commit - don't only spend $1 and count on amazing results.
  •           You have to let your ad campaign run for at least a week - if you try and interpret the outcomes before this you will not see what actually happens, there is often a peak of curiosity at the start, which will settle after a week.
  •           And there are also two different systems in Google AdWords. There is AdWords 'classic' and also Google AdWords 'Express'.

Online Marketing Perth - Making your Business Become a Brand

Online Marketing in Perth is about Brand awareness, and the potential to build your brand through SEO is always increasing in importance. The general shopper focus has changed towards a combo of building general brand awareness and having a product that genuinely speaks to them. This means that if a customer has heard of your brand positively, then they are far more likely to buy or engage with your products, then that of your rivals.

If your Perth company is 100 % online then this step is truly vital. When it comes to building this credibility, All you really have is your website. Take note, the most effective SEO strategy in the world won't really help a website that is poorly made and is about as user friendly as a second-hand lawnmower. In spite of all the talk about metrics and Google algorithms, your actual consumers are human beings with needs. Get the message perfect on your website and people will spend time on it, bookmark it, re-visit it, and mention it to their friends. I know this is general, but don't think that because you have finally got your site to the number one spot in Google that your customers are going to love your site-- they will just bounce right out of it if it's not what they are trying to find.

'Your website is your greatest asset. More people view your webpages than anything else.'.
Amanda Sibley.
Co-Marketing Manager, HubSpot.

An expert SEO service in Perth will target this area and develop a specialist SEO campaign that will allow you to both develop your brand name while providing your customers with a clear next step with ways to engage and purchase. This principle combines many of the areas that are common to SEO; link-building, social media, audience profiles. It's all just an issue of tactics and strategy.

When it pertains to the online world, it is vital that people in Perth still recognise you and your business as human. This is among the most effective parts of mediums just like social media, but it is primarily true when it comes to brand recognition. The general idea is that people want to work with people, not with corporations. It's a simple link to make when you can literally take a walk into a store down the road and see at a glance the stock, design, professionalism, and manner of the store, but this is more challenging online.
If you are not too positive what to do here and you tend not to have $20,000 to commit to an ad agency for them to come up with a great look, then make use of your own judgement about what websites you like. No matter if they are in your industry or not, it will really help you to determine what works. Focus on what it actually is that you like. I don't care how mundane your product or service is, if your site is visually pleasing it will not scare your visitors away. Computers were pretty ugly and boring until Steve Jobs came along. Up to 90 % of the buying decision is influenced by style and usability.
If you concentrate on humanising your label, while maintaining professionalism and reliability, then it gives your potential clients a general focus and provides a voice for your company. The three questions you should ask yourself are:.

  • How well can my potential customers learn about me?
  • Is my business likeable?
  • Is my company considered trustworthy and reliable?

If you take these ideas to heart and really imagine broadening your business in such a way that will humanise and make your Perth company likeable and relatable then you are on a good path to success. There are entire areas of your SEO campaign which you can (and should) dedicate to growing your brand because of the importance of this image and how it affects your Advertising impact, your Social Media campaign, therefore many other areas.

As The CEO of an SEO Agency, Internet Marketing Experts Perth, I have encountered a lot of small, local businesses that have no idea where to start when it relates to growing your brand. My recommendations to them is always to start slow and do your own research, There is a lot of SEO that you can do yourself without spending money on a firm by just undertaking some basic research into areas such as growing your brand. But remember to stay patient simply because these things take some time. And once you have a go, learn more and once you begin to think you need to grow and do even better, that is the time to approach an SEO agency. If you want to make that step now, then, then call Internet Marketing Experts Perth on 1300 595 013 or visit our website: www.InternetMarketingExpertsPerth.com.au.

Online SEO Advertising - Understand your customers to raise your brand

Online SEO Advertising in Perth can seem like a challenging matter, but once you begin to know some of the major areas it will all make a lot more sense to you and your business. It is hardly unusual that customers are very important when it comes to business success, but I want to give you a little bit of context and show you exactly how critical it is to not only identify your audience in Perth and beyond, but to understand them. You may have come across audience Profiles before, but if not there is a bit of research that as gotten involved with them as a process that helps you to essentially consider all the ways that your product can be received by customers and therefore to consider your audience when making decisions in the world of Marketing, SEO and advertisement. The reality is that producing a 'catalogue' of audience profiles will both inform your Perth business in many areas of and identify complications that you are yet to think about.

Content:
It almost goes without saying, but, a effective content strategy is key to progress for Online Advertising and SEO. However, ensure that your content is considering the people you wish to target. If your content doesn't line up with your target market, your content will be unsuccessful. Have your standard Perth customer in mind when you put together your content. A great question to be asking is, 'what issue am I solving?' Your customers will look to your content to fix their issues.

Links:
By knowing more about your target market, you can establish the quality links that improve your SEO efforts. Think about it, if you establish that your audience would mainly visit a specific site to gain their help and advice, then advertisement and link building that targets this site will be greatly beneficial. The other side of this is that instantly these sites that you pick will have the reputation and trust that you want associated with your website. Combining these efforts is seen in both Search Engine results and your audience building. Make sure your SEO agency or staff members completely comprehend what your customer profile is. For someone managing an Perth Health Retreat, they may have run an Audience Profile that tells them that a lot of 42 year old women with professional jobs tend to engage with their health retreat. When they go to use this information, they decide upon advertising, but, for example, advertising in a football magazine or website is ridiculous because last I checked 42 year old professional women don't read them. So having links developed from that site would be missing the point.

Social Media:
If you know what sort of social media appeals to your customers and just what sites they engage with, then you can start to customise your social media SEO Campaign. This means that you need to let your customer profile info influence what Social Networks you use, as well as what content you create, the style and tone you take and what engagement you seek from your local Perth audience as well as the greater community that you can reach online. Use your social media to build a online community! you may want to offer some freebies, or run a competition to begin getting your prospective customers engaged.

As the CEO of Internet Marketing Experts Perth, I know the struggles that most people have when beginning the SEO, especially when it involves understanding your audience. I myself ran a small business for a lot of years and had to discover SEO from scratch and by a lot of trial and error. So remember to start off strong and use the information that you know. Once you have built that base, learn as much as you can about SEO and be easy-going with the results. If you come to a stage when you are unclear, or want to set your business apart from the rest, then consider having a chat to an SEO professional.
However, If you want to get started on your SEO Campaign and have a talk to us today, then call Internet Marketing Experts Perth on 1300 595 013 or visit, www.internetmarketingexpertsPerth.com.au

Mastering the Call to Action

Digital Advertising Perth

Digital Advertising in Perth means nothing if you do not know how you can use your Call to Actions or (CTA's), because a Call to action may be the easiest way for you to create a lead. It can make or break depending on how weak or strong your CTA is, so I really want to give you a few tips to make sure that you are doing the most you can to grow your brand and create those critical leads.

Wording
Really basic, stay clear from common words that are going to make you seem desperate or like you are pushing for a sale. For example, selecting between the words, 'buy' and 'shop' as a CTA, one might feel that they each mean the same thing. But you have to understand that lots of people on the web normally avoid commitment, so subconsciously even there is a tendency for most people to think that the phrase 'buy' is locking them into something, whilst 'shop' is a way for them to discover more facts. The point I am aiming to make is that you really need to contemplate the wording and avoid words that have unexpected results.

Shape and Colour

It may seem strange, but Shape and colour of your CTA can affect its effectiveness. In the world of Digital Advertising there have been a number of reports into the concept of design and its affect upon a person's perception, and essentially one theory claims that curves are the leading way to go. So, if you intend to try and optimise even more, think about making the button for your call to action curved, rather than a square.

Now, colour, this is an additional area that there are a few theories on. Some people will have you believe that green is fantastic because it indicates 'go', but to keep away from red because it is 'stop', or that blue is calming so it may make consumers more relaxed ... Ultimately there really isn't any definitive evidence to suggest one option over any other, so just go with what works best for your design. One point that I will touch on though is that you should be aware of the font size and colour-- If you want your digital advertising to be most effective in the Perth area, it is a good idea to try and make it different from the rest of your content, but don't go too crazy.

Location

Where your call to action is set is quite crucial to digital advertising growth.
All that I mean by this is make sure that you don't have it tucked away in a corner somewhere, or that you have way too much text that is complicating the Call to action.

In the long run it all comes down to figuring out the combination that helps you, remember your wording, shape, colour, size and placement of your brand's Call To Action, and when you bring all the factors together just think practical and think about your consumer.

Boosting your Online Sales with good CTA's.
